Hey there! I’m Kori. Here’s a little bit about me…
- I’m from Hannibal, Missouri… we love Mark Twain there.
- I’m now a freelance bassist in Nashville, TN. I have experience with jazz, classical & bluegrass styles
- Bluegrass music has been my forte since graduating from Belmont University. I played with the Michael & Jennifer McClain Band from 2016-2018 and currently play with my band, Lateral Blue along with freelance work.
- I really enjoy teaching! Over the past few years I’ve helped middle and high school students prepare for and achieve spots in Tennessee Mid-state and All-state orchestra. I also welcomes adult learners, those who want to take up bluegrass music, or students interested in learning jazz foundations.
